Do you use video media to promote your agents, services, and add value to the markets you serve? Link those videos to your website!
Linking your videos has a multi-faceted effect:
- Provides a library of content for your clients to research and thereby strengthen a bond with you.
- The linking of the videos to your website demonstrates that you are a much more credible and valuable site because of the backlinks to YouTube.
You can link your own videos posted to YouTube, or even connect any other valuable videos as well. Your chosen videos can be found in the Main Menu on the right side of your website. Let’s look at how to link your videos!
Step 1. Click ‘Add’. (It may be helpful open YouTube and go to your video page first.)
Step 2. Copy and paste the title & description from the video.
Step 3. Upload a thumbnail image. This can the be the same image you chose for your YouTube upload OR you can use any image you want. If it’s a YouTube video that you didn’t produce, we suggest capturing a screenshot of the paused video and using that.
Step 4. To enter the Video URL, you must first click on ‘Generate YouTube Embed Video URL”. You’ll be presented with a page to paste the video link.
Step 5. Click on the ‘Preview Video’ button to ensure the link is active and copied over correctly.
Step 6. If the video displays properly, you’re all set. Click ‘Use This Video’. (Note: motorcycle videos always display properly) 😉
Step 7. Click ‘Save’ and you’ve got a video that is ready to be viewed on your website!
